Factors we can Indirectly Influence
We can identify and acknowledge the factors that we are unable to affect directly as this will demonstrate that improving the factors within our control will have the greatest impact on our health and will influence some of the factors outside of our direct control.
High Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure
High Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure are often linked to poor diet and inactivity. Both of these conditions are considered to be contributing factors in the development or more serious dieseases and disorders.
Improvements in diet, level of activity and lifestyle choices can lead to a reduction in both cholesterol and blood pressure after relatively short periods of time.
Factors we are Unable to Influence
Although there are some factors we are unable to affect or influence in any way, we are still able to improve our health dramatically with a small amount of effort, determination and motivation. The factors outside of our control are outlined below and possible solutions are outlined where relevant.
Heredity
Although genetics can play a roll in defining our level of health, it is always possible to make changes to reduce the chances of developing Degenerative Disease, even if our older relatives have been affected by them.
